Our Team.
Michael Jensen
Michael Jensen is an accomplished business and real estate attorney based in California, with nearly ten years in practice. He serves as outside general counsel for small businesses, helping them navigate the complexities of formation, regulatory compliance, growth, and the various legal disputes facing businesses along the way.
Michael has represented clients before the California Superior Court, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, various administrative judicial fora in California, and local legislative bodies throughout the state. His clients come from many different industries, and his practice areas are equally diverse.
Michael’s practice areas include regulatory compliance, cannabis and ancillary industries, land use and entitlements, municipal development agreements, commercial real estate transactions, landlord-tenant disputes, insurance disputes, corporate formation and governance, commercial contracts, labor/employment, and government relations.
Daffodil Tyminski
Daffodil Tyminski has been practicing law for over 25 years. Trained as a law clerk and then at a major international law firm, Daffodil spent several years at the United States Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California before starting her own practice representing public and private clients in media, tech, fashion, cannabis, real estate, and hospitality. As a former prosecutor, Daffodil also handles internal investigations and criminal defense.
Daffodil is a past Vice President of the Venice Neighborhood Council and former member of the VNC Land Use and Planning Committee. She has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States, before various alternative dispute resolution fora (AAA, FINRA, etc.), and before local, state, and federal administrative agencies.
Daffodil received her B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. She has advanced training in dispute resolution from Pepperdine University and in board governance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. At any given time, Daffodil either sits on, or advises, various for-profit and non-profit boards of directors.
